A call for applications to take part in the Research on Cities’ International Activity has been launched. The research is being conducted by UCLG-Eurasia and is an unprecedented initiative supported at the Eurasian and world level.
Its aim is to analyze the work of local governments towards development of international relations. On the basis of data obtained through the research, the Rating of Cities’ International Activity will be compiled. Its objective is to stimulate cities to develop international relations and define the best practice in this sphere.
The research has been conducted twice within the Eurasian region: in 2015 and 2017. This year the geographical scope of the research will significantly expand, encompassing the Eurasian and Middle East regions.
The winner of the rating will be awarded the UCLG-Kazan Prize for Cities’ International Activity in the amount of 10 000$, that should be aimed at development of the international activity of a city.
Applications and filled-in questionnaires should be submitted to the UCLG-Eurasia Secretariat by July 1, 2019 via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
The questionnaire is available through the link.
