Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, President of UCLG-Eurasia, joined the updated composition of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for the Development of Local Government. The corresponding decree of the head of the state is published on the official website of legal information. The document also approved the new composition of the Council.
Six new members appeared there: Vice-Premier of the Russian Federation Vitaliy Mutko, Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council Andrey Turchak, Head of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Government and Northern Affairs Oleg Melnichenko, Chairman of the Parliament of the Chechen Republic Magomed Daudov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, etc.
The new composition includes 50 people to 49 members in the previous composition of the council. The regional and municipal sections of the Council have been updated as well.
