Day of Voting in Russia

A Day of Voting took place in Russia. On September 8, 2019 heads of regions and cities were elected. The elections were also held in the several member cities of UCLG-Eurasia.

Thus, according to the results of the voting in the city of Novosibirsk, the current mayor Anatoliy Lokot won. Leonid Nikolaev, Acting Mayor of Anadyr, became a leader of the voting, and Alexander Zhornik became the new Mayor of Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

The Secretariat of UCLG-Eurasia congratulates all the winners and sincerely wishes to work effectively for the good of the cities!
