Екатеринбург развивает деловые отношения с предпринимателями Латвии

The first Deputy Head of Yekaterinburg Sergei Schwindt met with a business delegation of Latvia on Friday, October 19. The delegation was headed by Vice-President of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce Karlis Shenhofs.

The foreign visitors arrived in Yekaterinburg to establish and strengthen business relations between Russian and Latvian business as well as to explore the historical and cultural sights of the capital of the Ural.

Sergei Schwindt told the guests about the socio-economic development of Yekaterinburg, noting that the capital of the Ural is one of the cities that will host matches of the World Cup in 2018. In addition, Ekaterinburg officially claims to host the World Universal Exhibition «Expo-2020».

Having been informed about the development of Yekaterinburg and ambitious plans for the coming years, Karlis Shenhofs was also pleasantly surprised by the high birth rate in the city in the recent years. He also noted that the Latvian delegation made the right decision by choosing Yekaterinburg as a platform to establish and develop business relations in various areas and fields.
