The Final of the WorldSkills Russia

The final of the IX WorldSkills Russia National Championship will be held in Ufa from August 25 to 29. The competitions will be held in 105 professional competencies, divided into 7 blocks.

The final of the WorldSkills Russia National Championship is the largest professional skill competition in Russia according to WorldSkills standards among students of secondary and higher professional educational institutions aged 16 to 25 years and representatives of the WorldSkills Russia Juniors direction-schoolchildren under 16 years old.

For the championship, Ufa buys more than three thousand units of new equipment and tools. After the end of the competition, all of them will be transferred to educational institutions of Bashkiria on a simplified competitive basis.

It is assumed that thanks to this, more than 100 new workshops will appear in colleges, training in which will take place according to international standards in accordance with modern requirements and the demands of the economy. That is, the material and technical base of professional educational organizations will be updated by more than 70 percent.

By the way, all the structures — tents and pavilions installed in the Park of Young Professionals, after the end of the championship will be used at other events: city holidays, sports events. They are mobile and all-season.
