Города-члены ОГМВ из Татарстана получили гранты на развитие городских пространств

The National competition for the best project to create comfortable urban environment in small towns and historic settlements took place in Russia. The overall prize fund accounted for 5 billion rubles. Money will be allocated among 80 projects. UCLG-Eurasia members from the Republic of Tatarstan took an active part in the competition and became winners in many categories.

In the category "Historical settlements" the winner is the project to develop Lenin Square in the city of Yelabuga. The city will receive 50 million rubles to implement this project.

In the category of "Small Towns" with the number of residents up to 10 thousand people, the grant's owner was the project to improve the area along Pionerskaya Street in Bolgar. The funding will be about 30 million rubles.

In the category "Small towns" with the number of residents from 10 to 20 thousand people, one of the winners is the "Oreshnik" park in Agryz. This project will receive 55 million rubles.

The largest grants accounted for 100 million rubles and the winners in category "Small towns" with the number of residents from 50 to 100 thousand people will receive them. The winners are the activation of the city centre of Bugulma, the Gorky Park in Leninogorsk and the boulevard along Karl Marx Street in Chistopol.
