“CITIES OF RUSSIA 2030”

From 16 to 17 November 2022, Yekaterinburg will host the 6^th All-Russian Strategic Development Forum “Cities of Russia 2030: Challenges & Actions”.

This is a forum about the future of cities and for cities; a platform to exchange opinions and establish not only professional, but friendly contacts.

Traditionally, the agenda of the Forum includes complex issues of urban planning, sustainability of economics and achievement of strategic objectives set by the President of Russia.

Annually, the Forum is attended by more than 1,000 guests. Among them are representatives of federal, regional and local governments, representatives of public movements, business communities, academia, foreign and Russian planning experts. Events with their participation are available for everyone.

The general line of the Forum is dedicated to managing the development of cities, agglomerations, inter-municipal cooperation. Besides, this year, the Forum has been complemented with the social block. How does active digitalization and new energy influence cities and citizens, and what is not changing and should remain unchanged? The theme of the business programme is wide and includes over 70 events.

The programme comprises expert and panel discussions, round tables, foresight sessions and laboratories.
