Irkutsk establishes relations with India

Mayor of the city of Irkutsk Viktor Kondrashov had an appointment with the Consul of India in Vladivostok Yuik Rajesh. The meeting was initiated by the Indian side as part of the first visit of the Consul to Irkutsk region.

The Consul said that major universities of India take part in students` exchange programs and work with Vladivostok, Yakutsk and Khabarovsk. A lot of Indian students study in Russian universities, especially in those where subjects are taught in English. The Consul expressed his thoughts about development of exchange programs in universities of Irkutsk.
