The Best City Manager of Russia

The head of Stavropol administration - Andrei Dzhatdoev became the absolute winner of the Russian competition "Manager of the Year in the state and municipal management - 2014".

The "Manager of the Year" is being implemented by the International Academy of Management and the Free Economic Society of Russia, with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Members of the jury, which consisted of representatives of public authorities, prominent scholars and public figures, evaluate the activities of candidates in the dissemination of best practices of good governance, strengthening relationships with civil society, the formation of a positive image of the head of state and municipal management.

At the award ceremony in Moscow in his response, Andrei Dzhatdoev said: "In accordance with the Message of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the need for active interaction between the municipal authorities and civil society institutions, we have managed to build a constructive dialogue and to establish joint work with the public of the city. It tells us solutions to the many serious issues, and serves as an objective and strict controller. This approach has helped us in the work to achieve significant results in recent years. I am confident that the future - for the maximum convergence of the Institute of Local Government and the population and  for public involvement in the management process. "
