The presentation of the opening of the Association of “Dagestan Scientific and Educational Center of the Russian Academy of Education” has taken place in the administration of Makhachkala. Opening the event, the Mayor of Makhachkala, Chairman of municipalities of the Republic of Dagestan Said Amirov said: “In today's environment it has become an urgent task to create innovative training systems for staff of municipalities of the Republic of Dagestan. We need competent managers who have received appropriate training. But in the reality of our life people who have no idea what to do in the village, district or city often come to power. And what will they contribute to the development of the region? Undoubtedly, they should receive additional training, and continually upgrade their skills in order to be aware of what is happening and, most importantly, they must apply this knowledge in real life and work”.
“Training of future managers is a task for the system of higher education, and the Association was founded in order to bring together all the educational institutions of higher levels of our republic. It includes our leading universities: Dagestan State University, Dagestan State Pedagogical University, Makhachkala Innovation University, Institute of national issues of education, etc. Such wise, a single system of training and retraining of personnel on the basis of innovation and in close cooperation with municipalities can be created,"- said Said Amirov .
The next speaker was the head of the Dagestan Scientific Center of Russian Academy of Education Omar Omarov. He also expressed the need for integration of system of higher education and research.
Summing up, the Mayor said: “We have discussed the issues of creating an innovative training system for municipalities in the Republic of Dagestan. We have all the ingredients for organization of the system. So let us work together and raise the professional level of municipal employees, using modern technology and innovative educational system of professional certification training”.
