MEDICAL CENTER FOR ATHLETES OPENED IN NUR-SULTAN

The first medical center for athletes appeared in Nur-Sultan. About it on his page in Instagram* said Mayor of the city Altay Kulginov.

"The first medical center for athletes has opened in the capital. The issue of providing separate medical institution was raised by coaches and athletes at one of our meetings.

For example, previously, our athletes underwent occupational medical examination and received treatment on the basis of city polyclinic No.5. Examinations were carried out in the general queue with other patients, which caused some inconvenience, affected the quality of training and health process of athletes. In addition, as noted by coaches and athletes, it is necessary that the care after athletes is managedby sports doctors.

Thus, after joint discussions with sports representatives, a special medical center for athletes has opened. It is located near the railway station "Nurly Zhol" on street A-82. The Special Medical Centre enables athletes to have advanced medical examinations, rehabilitation and recovery. The medical institution will involve qualified sports doctors to ensure timely examination and control of the health of athletes, taking into account their injuries, treatment and recovery," the Mayor of the capital wrote.
