Mayor of Kazan Topped the National Mayors Rating

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin topped the national mayors rating for April – May 2020. Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, who previously had headed this rating, dropped to second place. The rating was prepared by the Information Communication Center “Rating” in conjunction with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

As part of the study, experts evaluated the activities of mayors of 88 capitals of the regions and large financial and industrial centers of the Russia. The national ranking of mayors involves the widest possible circle of experts of various professional and social affiliations.

The top-five leaders also included Mayor of Belgorod Yuriy Galdun, Mayor of Khanty-Mansiysk Maksim Ryashin and Mayor of Tyumen Ruslan Kuharuk.
