The Young Generation of the City of Sakhalin and Japan Discussed the Possibilities for Cooperation

The young entrepreneurs of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, who are engaged in construction, tourism, logistics, design, IT-technologies, and the Youth Parliament of the Sakhalin region, met with the representatives of the Youth Chamber of Japan.

According to Yana Krasnova, Youth Policy and Tourism Section head of the City Department for Physical Culture and Sport, the organizational meeting preceded the educational forum of young entrepreneurs "You are the entrepreneur", which will be held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on June 1-3. Currently, everyone interested in the meeting may apply for the participation. In total, it is planned to select about 70 participants, including young people from the Republic of Korea, China and Japan.

During the forum, there will be the session called "International networking team", which aims to promote services and products of young entrepreneurs to the countries of the Pacific Rim, as well as expand network of business contacts, search for investors and potential business partners.

The forum includes B2B dialogues, workshops, consultations, a round table and self-presentations. One of the priority tasks is to create a club of young entrepreneurs from the countries of the Pacific Rim.

"I hope that we will find options for cooperation that will be beneficial for us and for our foreign partners. The cooperation should contribute to the development of our city district and the region as a whole", emphasized Alexander Pak, a member of the Youth Council under the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Administration.
