Mayor of Dushanbe Met with the Mayor of Nur-Sultan

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli, Mayor of the city of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali met with Mayor of Nur-Sultan Altay Kulginov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, including at the level of local governments.

Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali highly appreciated the trend of rapid development of Nur-Sultan and stressed that the expansion of ties between the administrative-territorial units of the two countries, especially the capitals, will strengthen interstate relations.

The parties paid special attention to the exchange of experience in the field of urban management, transport infrastructure, public order, as well as the development of economic cooperation in trade, industry, tourism, culture, youth and sports.

In this regard, Dushanbe expressed its willingness to establish fruitful cooperation with interested entrepreneurs and companies of Kazakhstan in attracting direct investment and effective use of the favorable business environment of the capital.
