An Online-Platform Smart Urban was Launched in Novosibirsk

The first online-platform “Smart Urban” in Russia was launched in the city of Novosibirsk. Through the online-service international companies, citizens, experts or initiative groups may offer their ideas and projects to solve urgent urban problems.

The purpose of the project is to connect startups, business and the city leadership to create technological projects on improving the urban environment. Authors of the ideas will receive the tools for creating a business plan and launching their projects, investors will receive assets for the promising investments. Citizens can vote for the projects through the open Internet voting online. Then, the projects will be study by the expert committee.

“Smart Urban” is available on the website: smarturban.online. After registration, anyone can propose their projects in one of four categories: “Transport and Communications”, “Architecture and Residential Buildings”, “Ecology”, “Culture and Art”.

“We are launching the “Smart Urban” platform to help active citizens realize the hidden potential of creativity, connect authors of the ideas with business, government and bring these ideas to realization”, - said Alexander Krylov, Chairman of the Smart Urban Board of Trustees.
