The First Kirov Urban Forum will Take Place in October

Ilia Shulgin, Head of the Administration of the City of Kirov, announced the initiative to host a large urban forum in the center of the region.

“The main goal is to collect the best urban projects, to analyze the practices of the urban environment development in Russia and abroad and to find those, which will help to develop the architectural history of our city”, - Ilia Shulgin said.

An organizing committee was set up to prepare and hold a forum. The committee includes public activists, representatives of enterprises and government bodies. According to the decision of the committee, the forum will take place on 23-24 October, 2018.

The draft programme of the forum has been formed. The programme includes lectures from the leading experts of the Wowhaus architectural bureau, discussions and round tables on developing safe and comfortable urban environment, public spaces, urban renovations and etc.
