Krasnodar has received an official delegation from Simferopol

On 26th of March the new leaders of the subject of the Russian Federation came to Kuban capital to study the structure of city management and experience of the municipality work organization.

- We are pleased that the historic reunification of the Crimea and Russia finally happened. Krasnodar people perceived the event occurring on the peninsula with the great enthusiasm, and now they are ready to provide all necessary assistance and support to Crimeans - said, welcoming the guests, Vladimir Evlanov.

The delegation of Simferopol was headed by Secretary of Simferopol city council Alexander Maltsev, the delegation also includes representatives of city and regional councils of the capital of the republic. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the City Duma Vera Galushko, deputy head of Krasnodar, heads of departments and offices of the city administration and heads of intercity districts.

At the beginning of the meeting the guests were shown a film about Krasnodar, then Vladimir Evlanov told about the main social economic indicators of development of the city, about the governance structure of the regional center, the plans and the challenges facing the administration of Krasnodar.

Head of the city emphasized that the representatives of Crimea will explore the experience of Krasnodar for two days, get a package of necessary documents, and they will hold consultations on all matters of mutual interest. In addition, Simferopol representatives will take home a draft agreement on inter-municipal cooperation between the two cities.

- We felt your support in difficult times when referendum was prepared and held, and very grateful to you. Cossacks assisted us in maintaining public order and we appreciate it very much. Currently all authorities of the Crimea will need to rebuild their work in accordance with Russian legislation, of course there will be difficulties, but we are not afraid of them and are happy to learn from your valuable experience, - said Alexander Maltsev.

Vladimir Evlanov took the opportunity to invite Crimean colleagues to celebrate the city of Krasnodar days in late September.
