Training Centers Were Opened in Osh and Jalalabad under the World Bank Project

On December 3, 2019, the first training centers for postal employees were opened in the cities of Osh and Jalalabad. The centers were opened as part of the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of Kyrgyzstan, as well as within the frameworks of the World Bank’s project “Development of the financial sector”. Training centers were created on the basis of the buildings of the Kyrgyz Post Office in order to improve the skills of postal employees.

Currently, the Kyrgyz Post Office strives to expand the range of financial services in rural areas. The workflows of the branches are automated in terms of the provision of financial and postal services. This will bring the work of 923 post offices to a higher level. To achieve it, trainings of employees are required for ongoing maintenance and support of automated systems.

The training courses cover the following topics: international financial reporting standards, automation of reporting, introduction of innovative technologies in the educational process, holding seminars, trainings and conferences. The training will take place permanently and free of charge.
