The Festival “Solonka” Took Place in the Perm Region

On August 25, 2018, the cultural and historical festival “Solonka” took place in the Perm region for the first time. The City of Berezniki, UCLG-Eurasia member, became one of the venue of the festival.

The special excursion routes were created for the guests of the festival. Within the framework of the event, a traditional race called “Ermak Way” took place. The guests of the festival took part in the shooting of the film about the life of people inhabiting the Kama region.

The national cuisine festival was especially popular among the guests. Everyone could have tasted the traditional dishes of the region.

One of the key events of the festival was the reconstruction of the life of past generations of local residents. The guests of the festival were invited to participate in ancient wedding rituals and traditional dances.
