The Center for Information Communications “Rating” in conjunction with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation has prepared a new study on the assessment of the activities of Russian mayors for June-July 2018.
The rating has been conducted among the mayors of 88 Russian cities. This includes the heads of capitals of all the Russian constituent entities and the representatives of five major financial and economic centers: Magnitogorsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Novokuznetsk, Sochi, and Tolyatti.
The results of the “National Rating” were obtained on the basis of an absentee questionnaire and face-to-face interviews of representatives of the expert community. To draw up the rating, experts from a wide range of professional fields were involved, which makes the research results more democratic and close to the opinion of ordinary citizens.
The success of mayors’ reputation largely depends on the achieved improvement of the city and raising the standard of living of its inhabitants. Therefore, those politicians who can be called “effective managers” are popular.
