Ulyanovsk will have new airport and new flights

"Ceremonial opening of the renovated air terminal building "Ulyanovsk-Central" with new infrastructure and comfort conditions for passengers scheduled for April 12. But the repair work will continue. Until the end of 2013 the right wing of the terminal will be repaired, and by 2015 it is planned to reconstruct the runway and landscape the area. Already, we have begun to cooperate with airlines to open new flights."

Also there will be new flights from Airport n.a. N. Karamzin to Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Perm and Saratov. Ticket prices are determined in accordance with a special tariff providing 50% subsidy from the federal and regional budgets. Moreover, new flights to St. Petersburg will be arranged for spring-summer periods as well as 1-2 flights a week - southwards. Already now is being worked through another new direction - to Yekaterinburg. It is also planned that in May this year international air service will be set between another airport of Ulyanovsk - "East" and one of the airports in Germany.
