Green Challenge in Bishkek

By the initiative of the city administration, a green challenge takes place in Bishkek. The aim of the challenge is to motivate citizens plant trees in the park themselves.

In 2020, the first participants have already planted trees in the Alai district of the city. About 100 large-sized pine seedlings were planted in the Yintymak Park.

Staff of the municipal enterprise “City Parks” helped in choosing green spaces and planting sites. Mirlan Amanturov, Vice-Mayor of Bishkek for Housing and Communal Services, supported the action and thanked the citizens for the generous gift to the city.

Bishkek green challenge continues. Every citizen can plant a tree in a new park, and municipal services will take care of it.
