On March 14, 2024, Local and Regional Governments’ Day, organized annually by the UCLG World Organization, was held in New York as part of the 68th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women. The event was dedicated to the theme of “Empowering Women to Empower Communities: Local Economies of Equality and Care”.
