Kazan and Minsk Became Twin Cities

Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, President of UCLG-Eurasia, and Vladimir Kukharev, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Minsk, signed an agreement on the establishment of twinning relations and cooperation between the cities. The ceremony took place in the City Hall of the Belarusian capital. As part of this agreement, it is planned to exchange experience and knowledge in the fields of economy, urban planning, transportation infrastructure, housing, education, culture, health, environmental protection, sports and tourism. The agreement also provides for the exchange of official delegations and specialists in various fields and tourist groups.
