Ecological Races “Zerorace”

“Zerorace” ecoraces is an unprecedented race around the world on electromobiles “Zero Exhaust”. Its main feature is that the participants move on ecologically clean electronic cars.
The races throughout Russia are held on September, 1 to 9 through the following route: Orel, Tula, Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Cheboksary, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Oktyabrsky, Ufa, Uruzan, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Makushino.
The aim of the project is to attract attention of the world society to problems of ecology and the environment security.
It’s important to note that this race is a  continuation of the series of tests of ecologically safe cars. Such an activity  was already held  in 2008 but the participants of the race moved on solar battery cars.
The growth of the transport overload and environmental pollution is the problem demanding rapid solutions. “Zerorace” shows ways to more clean green future of our planet. The auto race makes stimulus for developing electronic vehicles and ecologically safe technologies totally.
The “Zerorace” started on 16 of  August in Switzerland. For the racing period the participants visit 18 countries, among them Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and others. They are going to overcome more than 54 000 km in 18 months. By the race ends they return to Switzerland. Five groups of professional racers and about twenty persons accompanying them are taking part in the action.
