Krasnodar Krai and the Eurasia Section strengthen cooperation within the framework of the UCLG

Secretary General of the UCLG Eurasia Section Rasikh Sagitov made a working visit to the cities of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. Today, on May 26, the Secretary General of the UCLG visited the city of Krasnodar and met with the Chairman of the City Duma of Krasnodar Vera Galushko.
 
Rasikh Sagitov presented the book of international cooperation, which presents the city of Krasnodar, which has been a member of the UCLG-Eurasia since 2004. The parties also discussed the further participation of Krasnodar in the activities of the UCLG Eurasia Section and the implementation of joint projects.

Earlier, on May 24, Rasikh Sagitov met with the head of the Department of Investment and Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Sochi City Administration Karina Tyrsina. And on May 25, Rasikh Sagitov met with the Deputy Mayor of Anapa, Vitaly Voronov.

Sochi and Anapa expressed interest in cooperation with the UCLG and in sharing experience with other cities of the Eurasia Section. Rasikh Sagitov also invited representatives of the Krasnodar Territory to the Congress in Yakutsk, which will be held on June 24-26, and will bring together mayors and representatives of local and regional goverments.
