UCLG-Eurasia in Azerbaijan

In early January 2022, Secretary General of UCLG-Eurasia Rasikh Sagitov made a working trip to the cities of Shamakhi, Lankaran and Baku of the Republic of Azerbaijan, where he met with Deputy of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Fatma Khanum Yildirim, the leadership of the Khirdalan Self-Government of the Absheron district, as well as President of the Administrative Council of UNESCO, the International Foundation for the Promotion of Culture and Head of the Department of International Relations at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory Jahangir Selimkhanov.

Meetings were held with representatives of the Azerbaijani public about the entry of the cities of this country into the UCLG-Eurasia Section and the exchange of experience with other cities of the Eurasia Section, as well as the Association of Cities and Villages of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
