UCLG-Eurasia in Yekaterinburg

Rasikh Sagitov, Secretary General of UCLG-Eurasia, met with the leadership of the city of Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk Region. The meetings took place on August 16, 2019.

Yekaterinburg was represented by Ekaterina Kuzemka, Deputy Head of Yekaterinburg on Public Relations. Vadim Dubichev, First Deputy Chief of the Office of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Director of the Department on Local Government of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region, represented the position of the region.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the cooperation between UCLG-Eurasia, the Sverdlovsk Region and the municipalities of the region.

Furthermore, Rasikh Sagitov took the initiative to organize a learning event within the frameworks of the celebration of the World Cities Day in Yekaterinburg on October 31, 2019.
