Rasikh Sagitov took part in the General Assembly of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities

Rasikh Sagitov, Secretary General of UCLG, took part in the General Assembly of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities which was held on March 10 in Istanbul.

The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of cities of Turkey, Moldova, Russia, Macedonia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan.

Eurasian section of UCLG was represented by Mayor of Bishkek Isa Omurkulov, Mayor of Comrat Nikolay Dudoglo, Executive Director of the Association of municipalities of Kyrgyzstan Gulnara Baybasarova.

Rasikh Sagitov also had an appointment with the executive director of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities Mustafa Bashkurt. They discussed issues of cooperation of the two organizations.
