Elections of Secretary General of UCLG

The contest for the position was announced In December 2010, 46 specialists from 27 countries took part in it.

During May 1-April 10 the Committee members for Statuary Affairs studied the applicants’ questionnaires and assessed all the candidates.

On 14 April 2011 in the session of the Committee was held to shortlist the best candidates. Among the first 10 nominees who got the most points the Committee picked up the best 5:

1.       Roig Joseph

2.       Javier Sanchez

3.       Francesc Badia

4.       Christophe Jacquemin

5.       Just Martens

The nest stage of the elections will be held on 22-23 May 2011 in the next meeting of the Committee. The nominees will give presentations and will go through the interview.
