100 000$ for a Project in the Field of Transport for Eurasia Cities

UCLG-Eurasia is pleased to present the latest Sustainable Cities Challenge initiative. The Sustainable Cities Challenge, in partnership with the Toyota Mobility Foundation and World Resources Institute, is a 9 million USD global challenge to promote sustainable and inclusive mobility. This global challenge is designed to revolutionize clean transportation and help transform the lives of millions of people around the world.

In the first phase, 10 cities will be selected for capacity building and training on how to design and develop innovative challenges. Subsequently, 3 partner cities will be chosen to work with the project organizers on a specific challenge for 2 years. The selected partners will receive funding (100 000$ each) and will develop and implement a 3 million USD innovation project in its city with the Sustainable Cities Challenge team.

This is a good opportunity for cities to get support in the development and implementation of innovation programs, as well as to receive investments of 3 million USD. The deadline for applications is September 18.
