Aktau Develops Flight Connections

Last summer Aktau became one of the most popular destinations in Kazakhstan among foreign tourists. For the first time in the history of the region the charter flight Ufa-Aktau was launched with frequency of once a week. In addition, the number of regular flights was also augmented.

Now there are negotiations between Aktau tourist facilities and major tour operators in Iran and Russia in order to increase charter flights up to seven times a week. It is planned to launch flights from Tehran, Moscow, Kazan and Yekaterinburg.

Aktau, in its turn, is ready to accept a large influx of tourists in the new season. This will affect the development of tourism, the quality of service of the spheres of tourist activity of the whole region, - stated in the message of the Center for Public Communications.
