UCLG-Eurasia’s Members Share Experiences

On August 10, Ulyanovsk received a delegation from the city of Cheboksary. Ilya Nozhechkin, Chairman of Ulyanovsk City Council, presented the experience of city management and mechanisms of interaction between the executive and legislative bodies during the working meeting.

Further, the delegation members together with the leadership of relevant departments of Ulyanovsk got acquainted with the objects of city improvement under the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, and learned the progress in constructing new residential neighborhoods, the activities of the City Management Centre and the work of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Ulyanovskelectrotrans”.

The presented experience is especially important for Cheboksary in view of the administrative reform being underway in the city.
