Grozny Is the Winner of the All-Russian Contest “Best Municipal Practice” 2023

The outcomes of the all-Russian contest “Best Municipal Practice” 2023 have been summarized. The contest for the selection of best practices has been held in 5 nominations: “Providing Effective Feedback”, “Municipal Economic Policy and Municipal Finance Management”, “Modernization of Urban Economy Through the Implementation of Digital Technologies and Platform Solutions (Smart City)”, “Urban Planning Policy” and “Strengthening Interethnic Peace”.

Grozny has ranked first in the first category of the nomination “Strengthening Interethnic Peace”. A total of 355 applications (+17,1%) have been received from 70 regions.

It should be noted that since 2017, 6229 municipalities have participated in the contest, of which 245 won prizes. The event is one of the efficient tools to support the best municipal practices. The projects of the winners of the contest are published in collections, which are posted on official websites and sent to regions.
