Kazan and Perm Signed a Cooperation Agreement

A cooperation agreement between Kazan and Perm was signed by Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, and Alexei Demkin, Mayor of Perm. The agreement provides for the development and strengthening of bilateral ties, exchange of experience and expansion of cooperation.

Improvement of local governments, creation of favorable conditions for the development of trade and economic, scientific and technical ties between economic entities, representatives of small and medium businesses, as well as strengthening of interethnic harmony are the priority realms of cooperation between the two municipalities. The parties also agreed to develop cooperation in education, culture, youth policy, sports, tourism and other spheres.

Municipalities are planning to share experiences during working visits of delegations, joint conferences, seminars and other events.
