Khabarovsk will host WorldSkills in 2023

Vladimir Putin has proposed to hold the WorldSkills National Championship in Khabarovsk in 2023.
- It is necessary to increase the availability and quality of secondary and higher professional education here, in the Far East, to pay special attention to the training of qualified workers. In this regard, of course, I support and propose to hold the Worldskills national championship of professional skills in Khabarovsk in 2023", the head of state said, speaking at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum.
Recall that the initiative to hold the national championship of professional skills in the Khabarovsk Territory was announced by the acting governor
Mikhail Degtyarev at the end of August before the participants of the traditional August pedagogical conference.
- We pay special attention to the educational sphere. I want all innovative ideas to be implemented in our region. Therefore, I proposed to hold the Worldskills national championship in 2023, - the head of the region said.
Recall that this year the championship was held in Ufa.
