Krasnodar Retains its RUA+ Credit Rating for the Third Consecutive Year

This assessment with a stable outlook for the Kuban capital has been done by the Expert RA Rating Agency. It is the highest ranking among Russian cities, excluding federal cities. Krasnodar maintains positive dynamics and the highest level of creditworthiness.

According to the agency’s report, the regional center accounts for about 40% of the region’s GRP, one third of industrial enterprises and about 40% of the retail trade turnover.

The largest share in the structure of basic industries is occupied by trade (57.9%). It is followed by industry (20.7%).

The food and processing industry, the production of vehicles and equipment, oil refining, the production of mineral fertilizers, rubber and plastic products, printing and chemical production are also developed in the city. The main directions of production are manufacturing enterprises, production and distribution of electricity, gas and water.
