For example, implementing SDG 1 "End poverty in all its forms everywhere", the Moscow City Hall launched a charity service on the official website of the Mayor of Moscow, which has been successfully operating since October last year. With it, you can transfer money to charity without commissions and receive reports on their implementation. The charity service on the portal of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow became the winner of the international Big Innovation Awards. It is awarded annually to organizations and people who implement innovative solutions that have a great impact on society.
Since October last year, almost four thousand people have used the service. Together, they made 6.2 thousand donations, the average amount of one transfer is more than 260 rubles.
The city constantly supports charitable initiatives. In 2020, the total amount of support for charitable foundations and organizations in the capital exceeded 300 million rubles, of which 67.6 million rubles were allocated as part of the Moscow Mayor's grant competition for socially oriented non-profit organizations.
The Moscow Accelerator program also won the BRICS Solutions Awards in the Business Solutions category. The international jury recognized it as a socio-economic and technological breakthrough. The accelerator is aimed at developing and scaling technological solutions in different sectors of the economy. Entrepreneurs and developers of promising products are trained in the framework of thematic courses-industry tracks.
The application "Moscow Metro", which is awarded in Dallas (USA, Texas), became the platinum winner of the AVA Digital Awards 2021. The members of the jury recognized it as the best among the 2,500 applicants for the award in the category "Public Sector Application".
The metropolitan service left behind the applications of the San Francisco water transport authority and the Los Angeles Metro, becoming one of the largest prize-winning companies: Microsoft, AT & T Business, the American Medical Association and others.
"The jury highly appreciated the usability, customer-oriented approach, efficiency and design of the Moscow Metro app and awarded it the title of platinum prize winner in the category "Public Sector App".
