Nizhny Novgorod Is the Best City Concerning Living Standards

Nizhny Novgorod became the best Eurasian city in terms of living standards. The research was conducted by an online service Numbeo.

Nizhny Novgorod took the 109th place in the ranking. This is the highest place among the cities of Eurasia. Next comes Yerevan (167th place), then Moscow (191st). The first one was the Australian capital city Canberra. The top three also included Eindhoven in the Netherlands and Raleigh in the USA.

The online service Numbeo specializes in collecting statistics on cities and countries. The experts compiled a ranking of cities in the world for the quality of living there, which is based on eight criteria: purchasing power of the population, security, health care, cost of living, ratio of real estate prices and incomes of population, transport load, level of environmental pollution, climate.
