Karaganda's Experience in Saving a Park Lake

The local governments of Karaganda are successfully implementing a project on cleaning the city's park lake.

The problem was the pollution and swamping of the lake. The cleaning began last year with the introduction of Chlorella bacteria, a single-cell alga, that helps reduce water pollution, increases its purity, oxygenates it and eliminates unpleasant smell. As a result, there were good changes in the chemical and biological environment of the lake and the purity of the lake's surface improved.

The next stage is the cleaning of the river Bukpa, through which the lake will be regularly filled with water. The plan for cleaning and filling the park lake is designed for 2 years.
