Stavropol sent more than 80 tons of humanitarian aid to refugees and residents of DPR and LPR

Stavropol organized an active regular collection of humanitarian aid to refugees and residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Since the beginning of the special military operation, representatives of trade networks, shopping malls, municipal and private enterprises have been bringing essential goods to two receiving points for humanitarian aid.

“We continue to support people who have lost their homes, their belongings, and try to start a new life. Thanks to the concerned leaders of Stavropol organizations and business for solidarity. More than 60 small and medium-sized enterprises of the city have responded to the humanitarian aid collection. Since February, of the Luhansk People’s Republic. These are cereals, pasta, canned goods, flour, cookies, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, hygiene products. Additional 7.5 tons were sent to our servicemen involved in the special operation. The collection is continuing”, Mayor of Stavropol Ivan Ulyanchenko said.

So, at present, in the warehouse of the “Yuzhny” market, 25 tons of drinking water are waiting to be sent. More food is expected arrive: sugar, flour, buckwheat, pasta, and vegetable oil.

Citizens of Stavropol also do not stand aside. They have actively collected clothes and shoes, bedding, food, nappies and diapers for children, stationery.

All humanitarian supplies meet health and safety requirements and have long storage periods.
