Astrakhan students replaced the administration staff

On April 20, the Day of the Understudy was held in the administration of the city of Astrakhan. Active young people of Astrakhan were able to try themselves as leaders of a particular department for one day and get invaluable experience in practice.

The aim of the project is to attract the attention of young people to the life of the city and to the work of local self-government bodies, as well as to implement the principles of openness of the authorities.

More than 60 people applied for participation, but only 26 participants were able to take part. They went on a tour of the administration building, got acquainted with the work of each department, attended events. After that, the children attended the plenary session, where the head of the regional center, Maria Permyakova, met with them.

The day of the understudy is an annual event organized by the city Department of Public Relations. It is known that according to the results of the past years, some children after graduating from higher educational institutions were hired by the city administration.
