The Days of Indian Culture were Held in the City of Astrakhan

On 26-27 May 2018 the Days of Indian Culture were held in the city of Astrakhan. This year the event was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and India.

Within the framework of the cultural event, free classic yoga trainings were held. The trainings are increasingly popular among Astrakhan residents. In the end of the Days a big concert with Indian dances and music was organized.

For the Astrakhan region, India has been an important partner for a long time. In Russia, India is known as an amazing country with an ancient and original culture, and the Days of Indian Culture are always popular.

Astrakhan has been a member of UCLG-Eurasia since 2006 and always takes an active part in the activities of the association.
