A Rehabilitation and Care Program Is Being Implemented in Buinsk and Leninogorsk

Caring for a seriously ill relative often ends with a crisis situation for an unprepared person. In order to minimize possible negative phenomena for both the patient and the person taking care, special classes are held in the cities of Tatarstan, in particular in Buinsk and Leninogorsk, as part of the implementation of the “School of Rehabilitation and Care” technology.

In Leninogorsk, the program takes place at the integrated social service center “Istok-Bashlangych”. Training is provided on the topic of “Moving immobile and non-mobile citizens. Organization of space in a house”. The social service center has a rehabilitation and care room for individual and group classes. It is equipped with the necessary rehabilitation and care equipment, such as: mobility aids (crutches, walkers, rollators), means of transportation (a board for transplanting, a rotary disc, sliding sheets) and other specialized care equipment. Classes are taught by a trained professional.

In Buinsk, the activities of the School of Rehabilitation and Care within the framework of the federal project “Older Generation” of the national project "Demography" and the implementation of a system of long-term care for elderly citizens are organized on the basis of the integrated social service center “Harmony”. A total of 56 social workers and 42 relatives of elderly and disabled citizens have been trained at the School of Rehabilitation and Care in 2023.
