Rivers Are Being Cleared in Nakhodka

For the purpose of protecting settlements from floods in the city of Nakhodka, the work is being done to clear the bed of the reservoir of the river Kamenka. The work is carried out by order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Primorsky region.

Implemented measures will reduce the probability of flooding in the private sector of this neighbourhood during spring floods and summer typhoons.

In addition, Nakhodka Marine Trade Port has launched a large-scale project for reconstruction of the deep-water berth. The wharf reconstruction plan includes dismantling part of the existing shells, installation of a new berth, concreting its surface, laying engineering networks and a sewage treatment system.
