Tomsk Hosted the Forum of Women’s Initiatives “5:0 In Our Favor!”

On 18 November, with the support of the city administration, the 5^th Forum of Women’s Initiatives “5:0 In Our Favor!” was held in Tomsk.

The program of the Forum included masterclasses, trainings, seminars and case studies devoted to such topics as “Physical and Emotional Health”, “Psychological Well-Being”, “Financial Literacy”, “Opportunities for Self-Realization”.

It is worth adding that a roundtable discussion on “Demographic Development and Quality of Life in the Regions of Russia” took place as part of the Forum. The event was organized by the community of support and development of middle-aged and older women “Real Women”.

It should be noted that such events have a great effect on achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local level. The Forum is directly related to SDG 4: Ensure Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education and Promote Lifelong Learning Opportunities for All (in particular, with regard to the task of increasing the number of people who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship) and SDG 5: Gender Equality.
