An Online City Guide Appeared in Tomsk

Tourists in Tomsk may use the web-service “Guliai” to explore the city. There are four available routes around the main sights of the city nowadays. All of them are accompanied with photos, comments and a map which one may download on a smartphone and go for a walk.

The web-guide was created by a student of Tomsk University to help applicants who come to study in local universities. The photographers, journalists and illustrators, all students and graduates of Tomsk State University, were also involved in the development of the web-service. According to the creators, the city routes are focused on parks, squares and monuments of architecture, several theaters and cafes are also mentioned there.

The length of the routes is on average 3-3.5 kilometers. Each city tour reveals Tomsk from different angles and is recommended to a certain mood and format of activity. For example, there is a sports 45-minute route or a leisurely exploration of the historic center.
