Udmurtia Launched an Updated Travel Portal “VizitUdmurtia”

Udmurtia has relaunched the tourist portal https://visitudmurtia.org/. It will be useful both for tourists who are going to visit Udmurtia and for residents of the region. It contains answers to the main questions of travelers: what to see in the republic, what souvenirs to take, where to taste the national cuisine and in which hotel to stay.

On the portal one can find information about 225 cultural, entertainment and natural landmarks of Udmurtia - from the classic “tourist genre” of the Museum-estate of Tchaikovsky in Votkinsk to the primeval ethnics in the House of Udmurt Culture in Karamas-Pelga. The event calendar includes a schedule of dozens of music, sports, and national festivals in Udmurtia. All this will help to plan the weekend and attend the most topical events of the republic. For tourists from other regions, a selection of hotels, cafes, travel agencies is provided.

For those who travel on their own, there are 6 automobile itineraries in the republic: “Far North”, “Homeland of Tchaikovsky”, “From the Arrestee’s Porridge to Chutyra Dumplings”, “Merchant Sarapul”, “Grandmothers from Buranovo, Springs and Sorcerers”, “Automobile Itinerary of Three Districts”. They cover three cities and nine districts of Udmurtia. Travelers can follow a given route or develop their own unique one.

The developers of the website note that the travel portal will be constantly updated, and automobile itineraries will be replenished. Members of the Udmurtia tourism industry can offer information about their facilities or events to be posted on the site: https://visitudmurtia.org. The portal will be the main platform where anyone can get comprehensive information about the tourist potential of the Udmurt Republic.
