The First Green Forum Was Held in Yaroslavl

The first interregional Green Forum was held in Yaroslavl. Its main topic was the discussion of “Concepts for the Development of Green Cities”. The event was attended by industry experts from Yaroslavl, Moscow, Vologda and Ivanovo. They shared their experience and best practices with the participants.

Several sections were presented at the Forum: “Architectural and Landscape Development of Territories”, “Youth, Student and Volunteer Initiatives” and “Greening of Residential and Neighborhood Areas”.

One of the main goals of the Forum is to exchange practices of urban greening, to solve the problem of creation, maintenance and monitoring of green spaces, methods and ways of restoration, to develop a strategic program of Yaroslavl on inventory and restoration of green fund.
