Bishkek Authorities Attract Residents to Change the Appearance of the City

The competition of the city projects called “New Bishkek 2018” started in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic. The contest is held to transform the city space, make it more interesting and diverse through building a dialogue between the city administration and the residents.

The award has three categories: public spaces, public art and IT solutions. In the first category projects of sports grounds and creative workplaces can be presented. In the category “Public art” contestants will share their ideas of unusual urban events. IT solutions are focused on the creation of applications and websites related to the urban environment.

The winners in each category will receive $300 as a reward and $2000 as a sponsor support for the implementation of their initiative.
